Meet The Team

Romer Romero

Managing Director

In 2001, Romer left behind a successful career overseeing the regional technical operations of consecutive microprocessor companies in order to found ACSS. He is our Managing Director, but he also concurrently acts as the Creative Director and Senior Developer.
 

He enjoys eating good food and watching Stargate the TV series—simultaneously, whenever possible.

Michelle Romero

Operations Manager

After leaving ACSS three years prior, Michelle is back, better equipped than ever to take on her familiar role in 2015. She brings years’ worth of business management strategies and best practices learned from building a startup tech company called projectCREATE.
 

During her free time, Michelle serves as a Director at the Magic Moments Foundation, a non-profit organisation.

Sean McGree

Customer Service Team Leader

Joining ACSS in 2015, Sean brings decades of expertise in both people and product management. He is our Support Team Leader and is in charge of maintaining help documentation.
 

A father of two, Sean met his wife while diving at the Great Barrier Reef. Aside from scuba diving, he likes motor racing, and he is still trying to convince his wife that a motorcycle and go-kart are essential to life.

Adam Hartikainen

SimDay Implementation Specialist & Technical Support

Adam is the expert on SimDay, proficient in everything from sales and technical support to testing and client training. He has held various roles in the IT and Banking/Finance sectors, and holds numerous Microsoft and CompTIA certifications.
 

When he’s not taking screenshots for training, this father of two enjoys taking snapshots as a hobbyist photographer.

Michael Rodrigues

eClaims Implementation Specialist & Technical Support

Joining ACSS in 2007, Michael is focused on conducting on-site installations and delivering remote technical support. The authority on all things eClaims, he also handles new customer applications and creates sales leads.
 

Aside from frequenting medical conferences, Michael can be seen behind the lens shooting photos or out in the community supporting Oxfam.

Steven Lov

Technical Support

Steven joined ACSS in 2008, bringing years of experience during his time at Acer. Currently, he ensures product quality through testing and maintains customer satisfaction through training and monitoring.
 

He takes his stringent quality standards with him when fishing or playing basketball, making sure that his catch is within size limits and that he only attempts high-percentage shots.

Steven Lov

Technical Support

Kevin Huynh

Technical Support

Kevin is excelling in his first IT role since graduating with a degree in Computer Science and Technology. He is skilled in providing quick resolutions to technical support issues.
 

On days off, he occasionally plays video games or takes his skills to the tennis court. Like other ACSS staff members, Kevin is also involved in the community, previously volunteering for the Salvation Army.

Gerry Ortiz

Technician

Gerry has built an impressive resume for himself, working at different financial and IT consulting firms, such as BDO, State Street, and Aspect Computing. In 2011, he took his talents to ACSS, where he provides timely assistance to eClaims and eReports issues.
 

At any given time, he will likely be doing one of these three things: Support, Swimming, or Soccer.

Erika Phan

Accounts Team Leader

Erika was hired in 2013 to oversee our accounts. She has worked for multiple companies in different industries, but always in the same capacity. If you’re an existing or a new client, there’s a good chance that you will hear from her.
 

But don’t worry: if you get on her good side, you might just get a taste of those mean cupcakes that she often bakes for her two children.
